For parents and children 8 – 17 interested in learning to sail this summer!
The Waukegan Yacht Club Youth Foundation has been making sailors for 50 years. Learn about the program at our Spring Fling event, where attendees can meet current sailors, instructors and parents, enjoy a pizza buffet, and participate in fun activities, like a rain gutter regatta.
Children in elementary and middle school are the ideal ages to learn to sail — our program accepts children as young as 8 and as old as 18.
